Alexandra Janssen, Owner

Alex grew up in Nebraska and attended law school in Montana. She married into a family of Montanans spread across the state. She is excited to continue meeting the legal needs of rural areas with the assistance of modern day technology that allows attorneys to practice in more than one jurisdiction! 

Alex’s legal education focused on criminal defense and reform and she has a certificate in American Indian law with a special interest in legal issues unique to tribal communities across the country. 

Following law school, Alex clerked for Denver’s District Court Competency Docket, as part of a uniquely collaborative team, which worked towards meeting the needs of individuals with mental health and substance use issues who became involved with the criminal legal system.   

She loves spending time outdoors near a source of water with a good book and her family.
